Meet the Heart Behind Legends

Dick Robinson has spent more than six decades behind the microphone and in front of the next generation of broadcasters.As the founder of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting (now CSB Media Arts Center), he’s trained thousands of talented media professionals. Through his nonprofit, The Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook, Dick continues to mentor young artists and preserve the music he loves.

He’s also right here on-air — hosting Late Nights with Legends: Classic Episodes of Dick Robinson’s American Standards by the Sea weeknights from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.  Also, Saturdays 6p – 8p and Sunday’s 10a – 12noon.

At Legends, you’ll often hear Dick’s familiar warmth reminding listeners that great music — and great friendships — never go out of style.
