The successful candidate is team-oriented, a natural multi-tasker, has very strong computer skills, superior organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work under pressure & deadlines.

A warm and friendly professional demeanor and a genuine desire to be helpful and supportive to a small and dedicated team of broadcast professionals is essential.

Familiarity with Marketron or similar broadcast inventory management software is very helpful but not required. Prior media experience is a plus.

The person in this position will:

  • Create the daily commercial/program log using VT Traffic (Marketron), handle the daily management of commercials and continuity, and ensure commercials are scheduled to air in the correct manner.
  • Perform daily reconciliation and posting to insure complete accuracy.
  • Handle all day to day and monthly billing functions.
  • Input, manage, and follow up on Accounts Receivables (deposits, posting, etc)
  • Track salesperson commissions, talent fees, production expenses, etc.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and greet a low volume of visitors to station (contest winners picking up prizes, etc)
  • Work closely with local Account Managers and clients in a professional manner
  • Order supplies, and ensure needed supplies and promotional materials are on hand.
  • Other duties as assigned, including contributing to the station’s social media postings and promotions efforts, as time allows.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Strong computer literacy especially including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
  • Extremely strong attention to detail is a must
  • Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing including follow-up
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with management and staff at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines with a smile
  • Access to your own vehicle available to you throughout the day is strongly preferred

If you enjoy and appreciate the music of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Rod Stewart, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett… it’s a plus, but not required. (Great seats at station concerts and events come with the position).

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Broadcast Operations and station ownership.

Robinson Entertainment, LLC/WLML-FM has an immediate opening for Sales Account Executive. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and detail oriented. Applicants must be capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment handling daily tasks including but not limited to prospecting and developing new customer relationships, persuasively communicating strategies for meeting customer needs with the benefits of WLML-FM advertising, and ensuring customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer’s account in cooperation with creative, operations, marketing, and finance staff.

•   Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
•   Ability to interpret a variety of situations and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
•   Must possess a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and a clean driving record.
